Home Care Specialties – AAA We Make Time Home Care

We provide Home Care, specific to our patient’s needs. This often necessitates our Caregivers to acquire special training and certifications. Outlined below are some of these specialty services:Our Specialties

Alzheimer’s & Dementia are the most increasingly diagnosed diseases in recent times. Certified Caregivers and specially trained Home Care Providers are essential in securing adequate care for patients with these conditions. The majority of the 5 million currently diagnosed Alzheimer’s / Dementia sufferers live at home and a loved one is their primary home care provider. As the disease progresses through its eight stages, it becomes increasingly more difficult for loved ones to continue care of these patients at home, as it effects tremendous strain on the caregiver. The loved ones of our in-patients have the assurance that they are kept informed about the patient’s condition by telephone and/or email, depending on the patient’s state.

Cardiac Home Care Patients require specialty Home Care during the convalescence period and on a continuing basis thereafter. We consult with the Physician and Therapist to customize a Home Care Plan of Care for each stage of recovery. Our Home Care Plan of Care is inclusive, and coordinated by a team comprising of the Patient’s Primary Care Physician, Cardiologist, Registered Nurse (RN), Therapist, and Case Manager. When continuing care, the Home Care Provider focuses on educating the patient to develop healthy eating habits.

Post-Op Surgery home care requires assistance with wound care, therapy, hygiene and daily living activities. Our Home Care Team of RN’s, Aides, and Therapists will work with your Physician to create a Plan of Care that will expedite your recovery in the comfort of your home.

Muscular disability as a result of Stroke-related Paralysis, Parkinson’s, or Multiple Sclerosis restricts one’s mobility and requires assistance with hygiene, travel, cooking, eating, and other daily living activities. Our Home Caregivers are specially trained and experienced in fulfilling these needs and fully understand the frustration our Patients experience as a result of their condition. They  are capable of implementing the requisite care in a manner that does not compromise our Patient’s sense of pride and independence.

Wound Care is preferably done at home by the patient most times. The elimination of having to travel to a Hospital or Physician’s Office reduces stress and expedites recovery. It has become one of the most frequently utilized Home Care Skilled Services that we offer. A fully trained RN is required for care of this condition. Our Wound Care Specialists are experienced in this field and are required to stay current on continuing education requirements.

Neonate home care is a desired alternative in this age of technology. At AAA We Make Time Home Care, we work with a team of dedicated professional Care Providers in monitoring equipment for Neonatal care and Pediatric Patients. Caring for babies in the home increases the mother’s and father’s involvement in home care for their baby. This positively impacts the comfort level and confidence of the parents.

Healthy baby Home Care is an important option for the mother of a newborn, especially when she just needs a well-deserved break or when her new daily routine becomes overwhelming. Our trained Home Caregivers will assist you in caring for your baby, while providing Mom with the time to do her errands or just take it easy and relax.

Primary Home Care Respite Care restores control and management of time to the mother of the newborn child (or the loved one of a patient).  While our caregiver tends to loved ones, you get a chance to recharge, run errands or just do something for yourself.

Senior Health Monitoring  allows us to be your eyes and ears with your loved senior family members. We will visit your loved ones in their homes or in a facility and observe their living conditions, hygiene, medicine, food and their mental / physical condition. We will submit a complete report to you within 24 hours of the visit or sooner if the situation merits immediate action.
